Here you can order your custom design for the Mertailor Whimsy fins in the Silver category! This includes simple designs with light patterns like dots and speckles!

Important! Here you can only purchase your design, not the physical fin itself! Please note that a design cannot be exchanged or canceled once I start working on it. Therefore, please read the following text carefully to avoid misunderstandings!

1. What I need from you

To begin work, a contract will be concluded between the artist and the client. Without this, I am not allowed to work with you. Therefore, download the contract and fill out your part.

I also need a detailed description of how you envision your design. Please note that 2 design changes (1st design draft + 2 design changes) are included. Each additional change costs 30€. The sooner you know what you want, the sooner you will be satisfied in the end. :) You are also welcome to send me pictures for inspiration!

2. Which designs I exclude

I do not copy designs by other artists! This is due to respect for other artists, but also to the very strict copyright law in Germany. This also includes designs from the fan art and trademark protection area with logos or symbols from protected material (e.g., symbols from Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc.). These are things I cannot and will not implement. A copyright lawsuit can quickly run into the thousands and would simply be life-threatening for me. Therefore, please respect my decision not to take this risk. You can, of course, send me inspirations, but there will be significant differences in your design afterwards.

3. Size

I work with the official Mertailor templates. These differ from standard clothing sizes. Therefore, please choose your size according to the Mertailor chart. If you are unsure about your size, please contact Mertailor Customer Service, who will be happy to help you and knows the material best. ♥

4. Design

Here are a few things I'd like to suggest for the design draft that will help me implement your design! So please let me know what you envision.

• Fluke style. Currently, you can choose from 5 different fluke shapes that you like best. FF1, FF2, FF3, FF4, FF5 are the different styles that belong to the Mertailor Fantasea Fins.
• Front and back. Would you like a different front and back view? Many fins are inspired by fish. Different sides are therefore very popular to make the design more realistic. Normally, I therefore start on the back, which is usually very detailed, and then reduce the design towards the front center.
• Pattern - simple gradients, light patterns like dots or elaborate stripes and illustrations. You decide! You can find examples of the different categories in the pictures. Please choose the one you think best matches your design. If you are unsure, feel free to contact me in advance ♥
• Blended hip. Very popular for photo shoots or underwater shots. I match the upper part of the fin to your skin tone. Please note that there may always be slight color variations, as a digital design rarely looks exactly like the physical product due to different screen settings.
• Highlights on the scales - emphasize the scales even more.

5. Process

• You order your desired design and promptly send me the contract and your design request via the contact form.
• Within the first week, you will receive your design draft! You can then tell me twice what changes you would like, which I will then implement.
• Once the design is complete, you will receive a design preview, which you can use to order your design directly from Mertailor.
• After your order, I will be contacted, send all print data to Mertailor, your fin will go into production and finally be shipped! :)
